  1. To find out the cause of long delays in cases sent which are to be filed on behalf of the state, or cases sent to Atoll Office to be filed at the court and to do the needful in expediting the cases.

  2. To monitor the cases sent to the courts or island Offices to see if any case is been delayed and do the needful to expedite any such cases.

  3. To compile the legal history of the Maldives.
